A Bristol Township man will likely spend the rest of his life in prison for repeatedly raping a young girl over the course of three years, Bucks County authorities announced on Thursday, Jan. 30.
Carlos Navedo, 52, was sentenced to 35 to 70 years in a state correctional facility after being convicted in October of rape of a child, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, unlawful contact with a minor, and corruption of minors, prosecutors said.

A Bristol Township man was convicted of raping a girl multiple times during a period spanning more than two years, authorities said.
Carlos Navedo, 52, was convicted on multiple counts of Child Rape and related charges on Wednesday, Oct. 30, according to the Bucks County District Attorney's Office.
Investigators found that Navedo raped the girl several times between January 2021 and December 2023, the district attorney's office said.
