15-Year-Old Girl Shot In Neck, Critically Injured: Philadelphia PD A 15-year-old girl is in critical condition after she was shot in North Philadelphia on Tuesday night, July 23, according to police.  The victim was struck once in the neck around 8:20 p.m. and taken to Albert Einstein Hospital, authorities said in a release.  She was shot in on the 1400 block of West Loudon Street from a dark grey Chevrolet Malibu during an "altercation," investigators believe. Police Investigate Broad Daylight Killing In North Philadelphia A 19-year-old man was shot to death in West Oak Lane on Wednesday afternoon, May 8, Philadelphia police say.  Authorities said it happened on the  7100 block of Limekiln Pike at 3:45 p.m. The victim was shot multiple times and taken to Albert Einstein Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries before the hour, according to officials.  No arrests were made and no weapons were recovered as of Wednesday evening.  Anyone with information is asked to call the Homicide Unit at 215-686-3334.

Philly Police Officer Accidentally Shoots Man With His Own Gun A Philadelphia man was shot in the leg with his own gun as a police officer tried to disarm him, city authorities told Daily Voice.  It happened in Germantown on Monday, April 17 around 4:15 p.m., police said. A 62-year-old man was walking his dog when two unleashed pit bulls approached him near 20th and Chew Streets.  One of the pit bulls began to attack the man's dog, police said.
