Officials have named the two Allentown pedestrians killed in an early morning crash on Sunday, Dec. 10. Luz Daneza Ruiz Acosta, 43, and Christopher E. Stocker, 44, were struck on the 300 block of West Hamilton Street around 1:15 a.m., said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. A man sits in a Lehigh County jail cell following a brief pursuit with police in Allentown, authorities say. City police witnessed a man draw a handgun during an argument near South 6th Street and West Hamilton Street just after midnight on Sunday Jan. 29, the department said in a statement. 1 Hurt In Allentown Stabbing, Police Say
One person was hurt in a stabbing in Allentown over the weekend, authorities said. Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of West Hamilton Street for a reported stabbing around 3 a.m. Sunday, Allentown police said. They met with the victim at a local hospital, according to police. The unidentified victim was being treated for a non-life-threatening slash wound, police said.
