Trove Of Weapons, Drugs Seized In Delco Raids: Police
Five pistols, two rifles, and at least four pounds of drugs were seized in a series of police raids at three properties in Chester last week, city police say.
Authorities served search warrants on the 1200 block of West 9th Street, the 1200 block of Keystone Road, and the 110 block of Pine Lane on Thursday, Jan. 25, the department said in a release.
Police said they confiscated:
A bag of cocaine
Four pounds of K2, or synthetic marijuana
$5,064 cash

Doorman Of Popular Chester City Tavern Busted For Drug Trafficking At Work, Police Say
A doorman of a popular Chester City establishment wanted for drug trafficking was arrested at work on a warrant and found in possession of more than $2,500 in cash, two cell phone and cocaine, police said.
Carl Green had been wanted on a warrant stemming from a January drug bust at his house that turned up 22 grams of cocaine, nearly $1,145 and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking, Chester Police Commissioner Steven Gretsky said.
He was arrested around 2 a.m. on Friday, April 16 while working at Bill's Tavern on W. 3rd Street, in Chester City, Gretsky said.

Chester County Man Facing Gun Charges Following Foot Pursuit, Police Say
A Chester County man is in custody after he allegedly tossed his gun and fled from police on Friday, authorities said.
Officers were patrolling the area of 9th and Yarnall Street when they heard gunshots south of their location, around 11 a.m., according to Steven Gretsky, City of Chester Police Commissioner.
Police then headed south on Jeffrey Street where they saw a man later identified as Kyshawn Atkinson, tossing his jacket and fleeing south, Gretsky said.
After a brief foot pursuit, Atkinson was taken into custody, Gretsky said.

Chester County Man With 2,000 Grams Of Pot, $22K In Cash Leads Police Pursuit, Authorities Say
A Chester County man with 2,247 grams of marijuana and $22,000 in cash was taken into custody after leading police officers on a lengthy foot pursuit last week, authorities said.
Chester officers executed a search warrant at 230 Meade St., just as Jacquell Stovall was walking outside to a black Ford Taurus parked nearby, around 8:40 a.m, Commissioner Steven Gretsky said.
Stovall -- who had a warrant out for his arrest -- was approached by officers while getting into his car, and fled the scene on foot, Gretsky said.
