Police Investigating Firetruck Crash In Kennett Square
Authorities are investigating after a Po-Mar-Lin company firetruck wrecked in Kennett Square on Saturday morning, Feb. 23. The fire engine had its lights and siren on and was headed to a call when it crashed near Landhope Farms, 101 E. Street Road, around 11 a.m., state police said. The truck was going south on Unionville Road when it struck a car turning left into the gas station, according to troopers. Firefighters were dispatched to a house fire in West Fallowfield Township early Wednesday morning, Dec. 6, officials say. Cochranville Fire Company was called to a three-story home on Bailey Crossroads Road just before 6:30 a.m., the department said in a release. Missing 81-Year-Old Man With Dementia Found Dead By PA State Troopers
An 81-year-old man with dementia who went missing over the weekend was found dead by Pennsylvania State Troopers from the Avondale Barracks on Monday, reports say. Robert Owen was last seen early Saturday morning in a home on the 200 block of Rosehill Road in London Grove, around 5 a.m., according to Pennsylvania State Police. Owen had no known means of transportation or communications, and left the home on foot in an unknown direction, state police said.
