Man Stabbed Several Times During Fight In Lehigh Valley, Police Say A 41-year-old was stabbed several times during a fight in Easton over the weekend, according to police who are seeking witnesses. Officers responding to the stabbing report on the 100 block of E. Wilkes Barre St. found the victim with multiple stab wounds just before 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16, Easton Police said in a press release. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital with serious injuries but is expected to survive, police said. Know Anything? Gunshots Fired At Easton Home, Police Say Several gunshots were fired at an Easton home before dawn Sunday in an apparently targeted attack, police said. The shooter fired at a residence on the 100 block of S. 11th Street just before 4:20 a.m., Easton Police Inspector John Piperato said in a release. No injuries were reported, though ballistic evidence was recovered from the scene, Piperato said. “Based on the information obtained, it is believed that this residence was the target of the gunfire,” police said. Easton Police Seek ID For Suspect In Gunpoint Convenience Store Robbery Easton Police are seeking the public’s help identifying a man they say robbed a convenience store at gunpoint Sunday night. The man wielded a handgun and demanded cash at the Express Mini Market on Butler Street in Easton shortly before 6:30 p.m., Easton Police Inspector John Piperato said. He then fled east toward Butler Street, Piperato said.
