Cop 'Dragged' By Tesla During Traffic Stop In Philly: Authorities
A police officer was treated for injuries after being dragged along the road by a Tesla during a traffic stop in Philadelphia, authorities told Daily Voice. It happened in Wissinoming late on Monday, July 10, the department said. The officer had stopped the Tesla on the 5400 block of Charles Street around 9:40 p.m. and was conducting a "vehicle investigation" when the driver hauled off, according to police. Driver Airlifted From Crash Scene On I-476 In Plymouth Township
A driver was airlifted from the scene of a crash on 1-476 in Plymouth Township Tuesday afternoon, authorities said. Crews responding to mile marker 17.5 southbound on I-476 around 4:25 p.m. were told a driver was trapped after they drove into and over the guardrail, landing down a slight ditch in the center median, according to Plymouth Fire Company Crews worked in temperatures in excess of 100 degrees, to remove the full side wall on the driver's side, both passenger side doors, and the roof, authorities said.
