A rapist serving prison time for assaults in Philadelphia and Bucks counties has been convicted in Dauphin County for retaliation against judges who wouldn't allow him porn in his prison cell, according to a release by District Attorney Fran Chardo on Wednesday, Sept. 25. A pair of Philadelphia men took a gamble by stealing dozens of Pennsylvania Skill game machines from stores and shops across the region, says Attorney General Josh Shapiro. Pennsylvania Files Lawsuit Against 3 Counties, Board Of Elections Responds
A lawsuit has been filed by the Pennsylvania Department of State against Lancaster, Berks, and Fayette counties. The lawsuit was filed in Commonwealth Court on Tuesday, July 12. It is asking the Court to compel counties to recertify the 2022 primary election results, claiming there was an issue regarding undated mail-in ballots. A woman who tried suing a Bucks County town after she said she fractured her ankle going down a slide at a local park can't sue, rules a Commonwealth Court panel. Betty Wright was on the slide at Carol Counts Park in Bristol Township with her 2-year-old goddaughter sitting on her lap in October 2015 when she suffered the injury, PennLive reports. Pennsylvania officials ordered an additional 33 restaurants temporarily closed, and have sought an injunction against 22 establishments in repeated violation of COVID-19 orders.
