A driver was arrested during a Bensalem traffic stop after a "struggle" with police, according to authorities. Police said they stopped Robert Rice's Nissan Maxima for "vehicle code violations" around 1 a.m. Saturday, May 11. BPD said he was "observed concealing items in the center console" and struggled with officers after being asked to get out of his car. Fingerprints On Noodle Cup Led To Thyler Blakes' Arrest: PD
A Bethlehem man is charged with multiple robberies after police identified him using fingerprints on a cup of instant noodles, authorities said in a release. A convenience store on the 1100 block of East 4th Street was robbed just before noon on Dec. 29, police said. The suspect "violently ripped" the cash box from the store's register and fled on foot with about $500 and some food items, according to BPD. Pair Sought For Robbing Elderly Woman At ATM: Bethlehem Police
Authorities are looking for two people who they say conspired to rob an elderly woman in Bethlehem just days before Christmas. It happened on Friday evening, Dec. 22 at the 1107 Butztown Road Bank of America branch, city police claim. Investigators believe the pictured woman "forcibly" robbed a senior in the ATM drive-through line, taking cash and a debit card. Police said she gave the car to the male suspect who used it to withdraw more cash from an ATM inside.
