The man was found with a gunshot wound on N. 11th Street at Jackson Street in Easton just before 10:45 Friday, Police Inspector John Piperato said in a release.
The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment and is expected to survive, police said.
Ballistics evidence was found at Vine Street near S. Elder Street, authorities said.
Meanwhile, officers are attempting to identify a Hispanic or light-skinned Black man that may have been involved in the incident.
The man was described as being in his 30s with a close or light beard and dressed in a black sweatshirt, light colored jeans, and black shoes, Piperato said.
The man was last seen walking east on Vine Street near the crime scene.
