Car Hit By Falling Tree On I-476 In Delco: Police
A tree fell on a car on Interstate 476, sending one person to the hospital on Thursday morning, July 18, according to state police. The driver of a Toyota Rav4 was seriously injured, troopers said. Two other cars were struck by debris but no one inside them was injured, authorities added. I-476 between Route 3 (Marple) and Route 30 (Radnor) was down to one lane of travel as of 12:30 p.m., state police said.

A driver fled the scene of an accident that left a bicyclist with serious injuries, said Palmer police. The victim was struck on South Greenwood Avenue below Charlotte Avenue around 10 p.m. on Tuesday night, July 16, according to authorities. No vehicle description was given. Authorities have released additional details in the Interstate 78 crash that shut down a large stretch of the highway on Monday, July 1. The multi-vehicle wreck happened near mile marker 31 in Hamburg, state police said in a release.
