Police Name Teen Killed In Northeast Philly Shooting
A 19-year-old succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday night, July 10 after being shot in Tacony, according to Philadelphia police. Hashim Gardner was struck multiple times on the 4600 block of Levick Street, authorities said. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he died around 10:45 p.m., officials wrote. Eleven 9mm shell casings were recovered from the scene and a homicide investigation is underway, PPD said. Anyone with information is being asked to call detectives at 215-686-3334.

Gas Leak Under Investigation In Doylestown: Officials (

Crews are at the scene of a reported gas leak in Doylestown, borough police said Wednesday, July 10. The leak happened in the Doylestown Hunt Estates housing development just before noon, according to authorities. Steeplechase Drive is closed from South Main Street to Birdsong Way while police and firefighters investigate, they added. UPDATE: PECO crews are on the scene repairing the issue and Steeplechase Drive is back open for through traffic, police said Wednesday afternoon.

Berks Pair Charged In Route 222 Road Rage Shooting
Two men were arrested this week for the apparent road rage shooting on Route 222, said Wyomissing police in a release. Luis Alejandro Rosado Colon, 24, and Alejandro Perez Rodriguez, 23, were taken into custody on Tuesday, July 9, according to authorities. A car was shot at around 1 p.m. on July 1 near the Berkshire Mall, police said previously. No injuries were reported.
