Fallen Tree Pulls Powerlines Down Closing Road In Doylestown: Police A roadway is closed to all traffic due to a downed tree involving multiple power lines, Doylestown police said. Pebble Hill Road is blocked to all traffic at its intersection with Turk Road at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 14, according to the Doylestown Township Police Department. Police suggest drivers find an alternate route. Approximately 108 PECO customers and 218 PPL Customers are without power in Bucks County, no estimates for when the power would come back on were available.

Drivers were asked to "find alternate route," the police said.  The roadway reopened at 5:28 p.m. according to the police.

The remnants of now Tropical Storm Debby will move north along the eastern U.S. through Saturday, according to the National Weather Service. Bucks County first responders reportedly made nine water rescues overnight after up to 5 inches of rain fell. Gas Leak Under Investigation In Doylestown: Officials (Updated) Crews are at the scene of a reported gas leak in Doylestown, borough police said Wednesday, July 10.  The leak happened in the Doylestown Hunt Estates housing development just before noon, according to authorities.  Steeplechase Drive is closed from South Main Street to Birdsong Way while police and firefighters investigate, they added.  UPDATE: PECO crews are on the scene repairing the issue and Steeplechase Drive is back open for through traffic, police said Wednesday afternoon.

Police said the pictured car hit a parked motorcycle near Chambers Restaurant, 18 N. Main Street, then drove away. It happened around 11 p.m. on May 31, according to officials.
