A serious crash closed Route 309 Thursday morning, Sept. 19 in Bucks County, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. All lanes were closed between Exit PA 563 and Exit PA 152 in Telford, the PennDOT site 511PA shows. The truck overturned at Augustine Road, as seen on traffic cameras.

A 44-year-old purse-snatching suspect from Philadelphia was arrested after he allegedly pepper-sprayed his victim at a Bucks County motel, announced in a release on Monday, Sept. 16. Officials have identified the 68-year-old Lansdale motorcyclist killed in a crash on Monday, Sept. 9. David F. Yacko died in the crash at Geigel Hill and Cafferty roads in Lansdale on Monday, Sept. 9, Bucks County Coroner Patricia Campi tells Daily Voice. : Lansdale Motorcyclist Killed In Bucks County, Police Say
A 68-year-old motorcyclist from Montgomery County was killed Monday, Sept. 9 in Bucks County, authorities said. Tinicum Township police were dispatched to Geigel Hill and Cafferty roads at about 4:30 p.m. to investigate a motorcycle crash. The unidentified driver from Lansdale died of his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, police said. A pedestrian was hospitalized with multiple injuries after a crash in Bucks County, authorities said. Perkasie Borough Police are investigating the crash that occurred at about 7:15 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5 at Callowhill Road and Dorchester Lane. A 70-year-old pedestrian was crossing in the crosswalk at Callowhill Road and was struck by a Volkswagen Jetta traveling eastbound on Callowhill Road, police said. A 38-year-old man from Bucks County pleaded guilty to trafficking counterfeit opioid pills. Robert Davis, 36, of Bensalem, pleaded guilty on Aug. 28, according to U.S. Attorney Jacqueline C. Romero. The pills were meant to be used as props in films but were instead used by drug dealers billed as oxycodone or Xanax, Romero said. Harleysville Driver, 36, Killed In Bucks County Crash
A 36-year-old driver from Montgomery County was killed in a crash in Bucks County, authorities said. Robert Strohm, of Harleysville, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Wednesday, Aug. 28 at about 6:30 p.m., according to Hilltown police. The crash occurred at the intersection of Route 113 at Diamond Street. The second driver was transported by ambulance to Grand View Hospital with unspecified injuries, police said. A Philadelphia felon was sentenced to up to a dozen years in prison on drug dealing and gun possession charges, authorities said.
