A 22-month-old boy is in the hospital after being mauled by two dogs early Tuesday morning, Sept. 10, the South Lebanon Township Police announced. The toddler was staying at a babysitter's home when the dogs attacked, according to the release. A former 8th-grade math teacher at a South Philadelphia school has been charged with unlawful contact with a teenage girl, records show. Michael O'Brien, 48, taught 8th grade math at the Christopher Columbus Charter School starting in 2021, the school told Daily Voice. Administrators immediately fired him after learning about his arrest. He was taken into custody on Aug. 30, according to court records. A 3-year-old boy from Chesterbrook died after he was pulled from a pond in Chester County on Labor Day, authorities said. The incident occurred at about 6:50 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 2 at Wilson Farm Park near Lee and Wilson roads in the Chesterbrook area of Tredyffrin Township. A semi-verbal autistic boy who was missing has been found safe, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Friday afternoon, Aug. 23. Firefighters Rescue Child In Car At Parking Lot Outside East Drumore Giant
Quarryville firefighters rescued a child locked in a car Thursday, Aug. 15. The company received the call to the child locked in a vehicle at 4:05 p.m. They were found locked in the SUV pictured in the parking lot outside of the Giant grocery store in East Drumore Township. A 7-month-old boy was struck by gunfire in Philadelphia's Holmesburg neighborhood on Thursday, July 18, city police said. It happened just before 6 p.m. on the 4000 block of Meridian Street, according to investigators. Thief Steals Minivan With 11-Year-Old Girl Inside In Philadelphia, Police Say
An 11-year-old girl was inside of her family minivan when a car thief stole it in Philadelphia, police said. A 24-year-old man took the blue Honda Odyssey with the girl inside at 2600 N 16th St., around 1:35 p.m. Saturday, June 1, police said.
