Michael O'Brien, 48, taught 8th grade math at the Christopher Columbus Charter School starting in 2021, the school told Daily Voice. Firefighters Rescue Child In Car At Parking Lot Outside East Drumore Giant Quarryville firefighters rescued a child locked in a car Thursday, Aug. 15.  The company received the call to the child locked in a vehicle at 4:05 p.m. They were found locked in the SUV pictured in the parking lot outside of the Giant grocery store in East Drumore Township.  No injuries were reported. Infant Shot In Northeast Philadelphia: Police A 7-month-old boy was struck by gunfire in Philadelphia's Holmesburg neighborhood on Thursday, July 18, city police said.  It happened just before 6 p.m. on the 4000 block of Meridian Street, according to investigators. The infant was struck in the leg and taken to Nazareth Hospital where he is in stable condition, officials said.  No arrests had been made as of Friday morning, July 19 and the investigation is ongoing, PPD added.

A 24-year-old man took the blue Honda Odyssey with the girl inside at 2600 N 16th St., around 1:35 p.m. Saturday, June 1, police said. The girl and the vehicle were safely recovered at 3200 Randolph Street. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. There were no injuries to the girl.
