Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Amtrak Train In Delaware County A pedestrian was struck and killed by an Amtrak train in Delaware County Thursday afternoon, reports say. The person was reportedly killed just after 4 p.m. in Marcus Hook after they were struck by a train on its way from New York to New Orleans, Louisiana, Amtrak officials told Daily Voice. There were no reported injuries to the 117 passengers on board or crew members, officials said. Amtrak temporarily suspended service between Philadelphia and Wilmington, Delaware, 6abc says. The Amtrak Police Department is working with local law enforcement to investigate the incident.
