Bank Robbed In Allentown While Police Respond To 'Hoax' Threat At Muhlenberg College: APD An Allentown bank was robbed just after police were called about an armed suspect at Muhlenberg College midday Monday, May 6, according to authorities.  Allentown police said they were dispatched to the West Chew Street campus around 12:15 p.m. following an anonymous call. Bomb Threat Clears Allentown Bank: Police Police dog teams were on the scene and the FBI was notified after a customer issued a bomb threat at an Allentown bank on Monday, July 31, authorities say.  Elhame Hassan Basyouny, a 21-year-old, was taken into custody and charged with terroristic threats, the department said.  It all happened at the Wells Fargo at 1901 South 4th Street, the department wrote in a release. Bensalem Bank Robber Nabbed, Police Say A man who robbed a Bensalem bank Saturday was in police custody, authorities said Tuesday. Keenan Coats, 32, of Philadelphia, walked into the Wells Fargo bank at Street Road around 9:15 a.m., Bensalem police said. Coats handed the teller a note demanding $10,000 in 100 dollar bills and mentioned that he was carrying a bomb in his jacket, police said.
