Bucks Crews Rescue Trapped Driver After Van Veers Off I-295
A driver was rescued Monday night after his van veered off I-295 in Bucks County and landed on its side, authorities said. Crews arrived at I-295 eastbound at Durham Road in Middletown Township around 10 p.m. to find the 46-year-old driver trapped in the 2019 Ram Promaster after striking a sign, according to Pennsylvania State Police. Crews removed the front windshield and went through the back doors to access the driver, Penndel Fire Company said. : Victim Seriously Injured After Jeep Veers Off Northampton County Road Into Woods
One person was seriously injured after a Jeep veered off the road and landed in a patch of woods in Northampton County Friday morning, authorities said. Upper Nazareth Fire Department members responding to a smoke investigation on the 3000 block of Newburg Road around 7:15 a.m. were met with the mangled Jeep, which had traveled “down an embankment through a section of woods and ended up in a corn field,” the department said. PD: Teen Suspect Flees In Coatesville Police Car, Injures Driver In Crash
Police in Chester County arrested a man who they say fled his home in a Coatesville police car and crashed, injuring a driver Friday morning. Officers responding to a report of a domestic disturbance in the unit block of West 5th Avenue near Charles Street around 11:40 a.m. say Alex Thompson, 19, was uncooperative and fled the scene in a police car, according to the Coatesville Police Department. Police: Driver In Bucks Crash Was DUI
A 28-year-old man involved in a weekend motor vehicle crash had been smoking marijuana before getting behind the wheel, authorities said. Joseph Hunzeker was charged with DUI and multiple vehicle violations following the 3 p.m. crash at Trenton Road and South Olds Boulevard in Falls Township on Feb. 21, local police said. Officers at the scene smelled marijuana coming from Hunzeker's car, authorities said. There were no injuries reported.
