Teenager Killed In Northeast Philadelphia Shooting: City Police A 16-year-old died after gunfire erupted on a residential block in Oxford Circle on Tuesday evening, July 23, according to Philadelphia police.  The shooting happened on the 1200 block of Van Kirk Street just after 4 p.m., authorities said in a release. The victim was struck four times in his torso and taken to Jefferson Frankford Hospital where he died within the hour, officials wrote.  No arrest was made and no weapon was recovered as of 5 p.m., PPD added.
