Palmer Police ID Motorcyclist Killed In Route 22 Wreck
Authorities have named the motorcyclist who died after crashing on Route 22 on Wednesday, Feb. 8 in Palmer Township.
David Walton, 59, was heading east on the highway when he came across traffic congestion related to a separate accident around 4 p.m., township police said.
He lost control of his 2008 Harley Davidson and skidded across the road until crashing into a box truck, according to police. The bike came to rest under a separate car.

Driver Dies After Palmer Township Crash, Coroner Says
One driver died from his injuries after a crash in Palmer Township on Tuesday evening, Jan. 30, officials say.
Joseph R. Hoagland, 68, suffered a medical emergency that led to a wreck in the parking lot of the William Penn Highway Weis, said the Northampton County Coroner's Office.
Hoagland, of Wilson Borough, was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital - Anderson Campus where he passed from blunt force chest injuries on Wednesday, Jan. 31, authorities said. His death was ruled accidental.

Pedestrian, 77, Killed Crossing Easton Street
An Easton man is dead after being struck by a car while crossing a city street on Thursday, June 15.
Saifeddin Alrefai, 77, of the West Ward, was walking across Larry Holmes Drive when he was hit, said Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek's Office in a release.
Alrefai was rushed to the emergency room at St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus where he was pronounced dead, officials said. His death has been ruled accidental by cause of multiple blunt force injuries, Lysek added.
No charges were announced in connection with the crash.
Easton Native, Father Of 5 Tyson Sandt, Sr. Dies At 42
Easton native and father of five Tyson Sandt, Sr. died April 20 at St. Luke’s Hospital — Anderson Campus. He was 42.
Born in Easton, Sandt graduated from Easton High School in 1997, his obituary says.
Sandt then worked as a technician for Dixie Cup Manufacturing, his memorial says.
Sandt loved spending time with has family members and close friends.
