Nazareth Pike Wawa Offers Free Coffee Opening Day
A new Wawa location will open its doors at 3608 Nazareth Pike, Bethlehem on Thursday, April 25. The first customers can enjoy free coffee all day to celebrate the grand opening, a spokesperson said. The shop opens at 8 a.m. with a countdown beginning at 7:45 a.m. Free T-shirts are available for the first 100 customers. As well, police officers and firefighters will face off in Wawa's signature "Hoagies for Heroes" competition, where first responders compete to build the most hoagies in a three-minute lightning round. A ribbon cutting is scheduled for 8:30 a.m.

Infant Among 7 Hurt In Northeast Philadelphia Fire, Authorities Say
An infant, two police officers, and a firefighter were among the seven people injured in a Northeast Philadelphia rowhouse blaze Thursday morning, Dec. 7, according to officials. Firefighters were called to the 6300 block of Cardiff Street in Mayfair just before 8 a.m., PFD said. Heavy smoke and flames were visible when crews arrived and firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control within 30 minutes, authorities said.
