Suspects Wanted For Shooting In Muhlenberg: Authorities
Two men are sought in connection with a July 9 shooting in Muhlenberg, according to officials. The suspects were walking on the 2400 block of Kutztown Road when a car double parked beside them around 6:45 p.m., police said in a release on July 31. After a brief interaction with the driver, one of the men took out a pistol and shot a nearby parked car, authorities said. The driver of the double-parked car sped off. The 52-year-old son of a former US Ambassador started a road rage incident that led to his death, the Dauphin County District Attorney Fran Chardo announced on Tuesday, July 16. Paul Kattouf of Susquehanna Township was found shot dead in the 200 block of State Street (between Second and Third streets) around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, according to the releases by Harrisburg police and the Dauphin County Coroner's office. A driver in Berks County faces aggravated assault charges after authorities say he pistol-whipped another motorist in a fight at a restaurant parking lot. Wyomissing police were called to the Plaza Azteca Restaurant at the Berkshire Mall just before 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7 for a report of possible shots fired, the department said in a statement.
