US Marshals have arrested the man accused of killing a Philadelphia Streets Department employee on the job last month. Senaaj Jackson, 22, was taken into custody around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, Oct. 11, said USMS. : 21-Year-Old City Employee ID'd, Philadelphia Police Say
The city Streets Department employee who was shot in South Philadelphia early on Thursday, Sept. 7 has died from his injuries, police told Daily Voice. The victim, now identified as 21-year-old Masir Williams, was shot in the lower back and left forearm on the 2300 block of Oakford Street, Daily Voice previously reported. He was rushed to Jefferson University Hospital by first responders and placed in critical condition but died from his injuries at 10:17 a.m., police said. Authorities in Philadelphia have identified the city employee shot and killed in Mayfair on the morning of Friday, Nov. 18 as Ikeem Johnson, a 35-year-old sanitation worker.
