A woman was found dead in a park in Philadelphia, police announced on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024. Philadelphia Police were called to the 900 block of Tustin Avenue in the 7th District at 3:37 p.m. Officers found the unidentified woman at the scene. She was pronounced dead by the Philadelphia Fire Department's Medic Unit at 8:33 p.m. The scene is being held, and the woman's body will be taken to the Medical Examiner's Office to determine the cause of death. Six partiers were rescued from a sinking 20-foot boat on the Schuylkill River in Southeast Philadelphia, authorities said.
