A pedestrian was hospitalized with multiple injuries after a crash in Bucks County, authorities said. Perkasie Borough Police are investigating the crash that occurred at about 7:15 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5 at Callowhill Road and Dorchester Lane. A 70-year-old pedestrian was crossing in the crosswalk at Callowhill Road and was struck by a Volkswagen Jetta traveling eastbound on Callowhill Road, police said. A Sellersville man is accused of attacking another with a machete and a knife, say Perkasie Borough Police. Isaiah Mikel Velazquez, 25, is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, and related counts, according to the department. Police believe Velazquez attacked a man at his Sellersville home sometime after midnight on Saturday, Sept. 9, "following a domestic disturbance." A "suspicious" person in an Amazon T-shirt posed as a delivery driver and walked into a Sellersville home, according to Perkasie Borough Police. Investigators say the man walked onto the porch of a home on the 500 block of Newbury Court around 7 p.m. Monday, Aug, 28. The phony deliveryman opened the screen door and main door before letting himself inside, police said. Dozens of vehicles were targeted by teenage vandals in a single night in Sellersville last week, according to Perkasie Borough police. They slashed open 32 tires and shattered 11 windows on 27 different vehicles before sunrise on Tuesday, Aug. 22, the department said. One of the teens is described as a white juvenile between 14 and 16 with "dirty blond or brown hair," police said. A 64-year-old Pennsylvania man heading to a facility in New York has gone missing — and he might be in danger, according to a police release on Aug. 15. Bucks Man Abused Child Under 13, Authorities Say
A Bucks County man is charged with multiple felonies after police claim he sexually assaulted a minor earlier this year. Alvin B. Rosenberger, 55, of Sellersville, turned himself in to Perkasie Borough police on Friday, May 26, the department wrote in a release. Detectives began investigating Rosenberger in April when they received a report he had "inappropriate contact" with a "juvenile" who was "known to" him. Authorities are continuing to investigate after a car accident left a pedestrian seriously wounded in Perkasie. It happened on Friday, March 17 on the 400 block of East Walnut Street, borough police said in a statement. Police are seeking witnesses to a Bucks County hit-and-run crash that injured a juvenile. A girl was crossing the street when she was struck by a black Subaru at Diamond Street and E Branch Road in Sellersville around 7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 19, Perkasie Borough police said. A small school bus and car collided at South Main Street and East Ridge Avenue around 8:35 a.m., Perkasie Borough police said. Police did not say whether anyone was hurt.
