Philadelphia Motorcyclist Killed By Hit-Run Driver In South Jersey, Police Say
A Philadelphia motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash late Saturday, Aug. 10 in Burlington County, NJ, police said. Gladerby Bredy was found lying along the south shoulder of Arney’s Mount Road in Pemberton after being struck by a vehicle just after 10:40 p.m., Chief Jon Glass said. Bredy had been heading west on North Pemberton Road when he was struck by a southbound vehicle on Arney's Mount Road, Glass said. A 28-year-old South Jersey man who videotaped sexual assaults of a young girl was sentenced to 15 years in State Prison, authorities announced Thursday, March 10. Cody Rodriguez must serve the entire term before becoming eligible for parole, under the sentence imposed by the Superior Court Judge Philip E. Haines. Rodriguez in September pleaded guilty to aggravated sexual assault. South Jersey Man Sentenced In 2017 Murder Case
A Burlington County man's maximum sentence could keep in prison until he is in his 80s after he being found guilty of murder. Douglas Lewis, 26, Pemberton Township, was found guilty of murder and weapons charges in July. Lewis has been sentenced to 58 years in New Jersey state prison for fatally shooting Shaquille Williams, 24, in a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Kinsley Road on March 21, 2017 just before 9 p.m., according to Prosecutor Scott Coffina Lewis is thought to have killed Williams as payback for robbing one of Lewis’s associates, as the Coffina argued during the trial. “This…
