Wyoming County Man Killed, Driver Airlifted In New Jersey Crash: Troopers
A northeast Pennsylvania man was dead and another man was airlifted after a head-on crash on the Jersey Shore, officials said. Thomas Grau, 55, of Falls, PA, died in the crash in Dennis Township on Tuesday, Oct. 15, a New Jersey State Police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the scene on Route 47 South just south of Tyler Road near milepost 18.8. at around 12:28 p.m. Investigators said Grau was driving north in a Toyota Prius when he crossed the center line and struck an oncoming Nissan Pathfinder. Man's Suicide Attempt Closes Route 42 For Hours: State Police (

Police activity that closed Route 42 in Bellmawr for hours has come to an end. For seven hours, the man stood on the ledge of the I-295 overpass, closing Route 42 below in both directions on Thursday afternoon, April 4 near Exit 14. "We were able to get the individual some help," said New Jersey State Trooper, who declined to provide further details. Photos at the scene show tractor trailers lined up under the bridge and police speaking to the man, standing on a ledge of the overpass. Bus Transporting Phillipsburg Elementary Students Struck By Vehicle On Route 22
A bus transporting first- and second-graders from the Phillipsburg School District was struck by a vehicle on Route 22 shortly after dismissal on Tuesday, Dec. 12, the superintendent confirmed. The bus was transporting 22 children from Phillipsburg Primary School, which had just dismissed its students, when it was struck by a vehicle on Route 22 eastbound, Superintendent Gregory Troxell told Daily Voice. Two victims were being flown to nearby hospitals in separate medical helicopters following a serious crash in Warren County, developing reports say. The crash trapped the victims near 459 Route 31 in Washington shortly before 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, March 15, according to initial and unconfirmed reports. A motorist who stopped to help another motorist involved in a crash was struck and killed in South Jersey, authorities said. Atlantic City police were called to Route 30 on a report of a collision about 10 p.m. Wednesday, a department spokesman said.
