'Likely Murder-Suicide' Attempt In Nanticoke: Police Authorities are investigating a "likely murder-suicide" attempt in Nanticoke on Monday night, Jan. 22, police said in a release.  Officers were called to the 300 block of East Union Street around 8:30 p.m., the department said.  A woman was found dead on the scene and a man was "found alive and transported to a nearby hospital," the release says. His condition was unknown to police as of Tuesday.  Neither person was named in the release.  Police Chief Michael Roke said it was an "isolated incident" and that there is "no danger to the public."
