76-Year-Old Fatally Injured While Cutting Tree In Monroe County: Officials A Somerset, New Jersey man was fatally struck by a falling tree branch in Middle Smithfield, according to authorities.  David M. Feingold, 76, was cutting a tree on June 29 when a large branch fell and hit him, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. The accident happened on the 200 block of Melvin Lane, officials said.  Feingold was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest where he died from complications of blunt-force trauma to the head on Sunday, July 14, the Coroner's Office said. His death was ruled accidental.

Married Pair Accused Of Promoting Prostitution In Monroe County, DA Says (Updated) A couple is accused of posting an online ad for sex work, prosecutors say.  Suntoya Tucker and Betty Merwede were both charged with misdemeanor promoting prostitution and drug paraphernalia charges, according to the District Attorney's Office.  Investigators claimed they responded to an ad Tucker posted on Oct. 24 and arranged to meet her at the Value Inn, 5219 Milford Road in Middle Smithfield.  The ad was titled "Sweet like caramel baby" and included photos of Tucker, police said. Poconos Motorcyclist Fatally Struck By Septic Truck, Troopers Say A Monroe County motorcyclist died after losing control of his bike and being hit by a septic truck on a Chestnuthill Township road, say state police.  It happened on Saturday, May 13 around 3:20 p.m., troopers wrote in a release. The motorcyclist, an unnamed 26-year-old Stroudsburg resident, was headed south on Route 715 when he lost control and skidded into the northbound lane, authorities said.  During the slide, he was separated from the bike, which hit traveled off the road and hit a tree before skidding back into the southbound lane, the release says.
