Know anything? Police are investigating a Thanksgiving Day shooting in Easton. Officers responding to a disturbance in Centre Square heard gunshots near S 3rd and Pine Streets just after 1:50 a.m., Easton Police Lt. Matthew T. Gerould said in a release. Police found evidence that shots had been fired and located a parked vehicle that had been hit, Gerould said. No victims were found, according to Gerould, who added that the shooting seemed to have occurred as a result of a nearby fight. Police are seeking answers about a Thursday night shooting in Easton involving a victim they say was not cooperative with their investigation. Officers responding to an unrelated incident at St. Luke’s Hospital in Easton were notified that a gunshot victim had arrived in a private vehicle from the city just after 7 p.m., Lt. Matthew T. Police have identified and arrested the suspect in a recent gunpoint robbery in Easton — and the alleged culprit was apprehended for a series of attempted car break-ins just six days beforehand. Elijah Whittingham, 19, is accused of wielding a handgun and demanding cash from employees at the Express Mini Market on Butler Street in Easton shortly before 6:30 p.m. on May 9, Lt. Matthew T.
