Woman Shot Dead In Allentown: Coroner A 35-year-old woman was shot and killed in Allentown early Friday morning, Sept. 29.  The unnamed victim was shot around 2 a.m. on the 600 block of North Law Street, the Lehigh County Coroner's Office said. Her death was ruled a homicide.  An autopsy is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 2.  Allentown police and Lehigh County detectives are investigating in addition to the Coroner's Office.  Officials said they have identified the victim but are withholding her name so family members can grieve privately.

Shooting Victim Identified In Allentown Authorities in Allentown have named the 58-year-old man who was shot and killed on a city street early Saturday morning, Sept. 23.  Orlando Ibanez was struck by gunfire on the 500 block of West Allen Street around 1:45 a.m., said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. Ibanez, of Allentown, was rushed to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest where he died from his wound around 2:20 a.m., the coroner said.
