Dump Truck Driver Killed Slamming Into Embankment ID'd: Lehigh County Coroner
The family of a North Whitehall Township man is grieving their loss following a fatal dump truck crash that took his life on Tuesday, Oct. 15. David A. Brown, 68, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash that happened when the dump truck he was driving in the 2700 block of Valley Road struck an embankment. Brown was employed as a machinist and mechanic at Nestle Purina, formerly ALPO, for 43 years before his retirement in 2022, according to his obituary from Heintzelman Funeral Home. Longtime Pennsylvania Corrections Officer Dies Suddenly, 49
Leon Hill, a Lower Saucon husband and father, died suddenly on Wednesday, Oct. 11 while fishing in upstate New York, loved ones said in his obituary. He was 49. Born in Fountain Hill, Hill was a corrections officer with Northampton County for 16 years at the time of his death, family members said. Friends and colleagues took to Facebook to memorialize him. Services Set For Pennsylvania Sisters Killed In House Fire
Funeral arrangements have been set for a pair of sisters killed in a Pennsylvania house fire. Brianna "Bri Bri" N. Baer, 15, and Abigail “Abbie” E. Kaufman, 10, were rushed to St Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem after firefighters rescued them from their engulfed home on the 600 block of Linden Avenue in Hellertown around 1 a.m. Friday, April 1.
