New Details Emerge In Schuylkill County Double Murder: PSP
State police investigators are shedding new light on the murders of Hunter Mock and Angel Caraballo. The teens were found dead in a wooded area near Ferndale Road in New Philadelphia Borough early on Oct. 10, authorities have said. Now, troopers believe 18-year-old Mock and 16-year-old Caraballo had gone to the wooded area known as "the Sanchez" to go target shooting with two other people on the night of Oct. 8. Gunman In Ski Mask Robs PA Gas Station: Police
A masked man robbed an East Union Township gas station at gunpoint late on Monday, Aug. 28, Pennsylvania State Police say. The armed robbery happened at the Sheppton Mini Mart, 974 Center St., around 9:15 p.m., troopers said. The robber walked in through the back door brandishing a black handgun and ordering the workers to get on the floor, according to investigators. Troopers Remove 'Homemade Pipe Bombs' From Schuylkill County Home
State police are searching for answers after a pair of "homemade pipe bombs" were discovered hidden in the ceiling of a vacant Schuylkill County apartment unit. It happened on Wednesday, May 31, troopers wrote in a release. Police in Girardville Borough were called to an apartment at 30 West Main Street to investigate a "possible explosive device," authorities said.
