Two men have been charged following an armed burglary and standoff with police at the Fountain Hill Pharmacy in Lehigh County on Christmas Eve, authorities announced Wednesday, Dec. 25.
Miguel Martinez, 56, of Allentown, and David Vazquez, 33, of Bethlehem, face multiple charges, including felony burglary, felony recklessly endangering another person, and several misdemeanors such as theft by unlawful taking, prohibited offensive weapon, and possessing an instrument of crime, according to Lehigh County District Attorney Gavin P. Police: Northampton County Man, 19, Nabbed In Early Morning String Of Attempted Car Break-Ins
A Northampton County man is facing several charges after he was caught trying to break into cars in Bethlehem Monday morning, authorities said.
Elijah Whittingham, 19, was seen attempting to enter several cars parked along the 500 block of Seneca Street around 8 a.m., Bethlehem Police said.
Whittingham was arrested after admitting to police that he had tried to enter vehicles in the area, authorities said.
Whittingham was charged with theft from a motor vehicle, disorderly conduct, purchase, consumption or transportation of liquor and possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
