One man is in the hospital after his home exploded on Friday morning, Pennsylvania State Police told Daily Voice. The explosion happened at 84 Stump Lane in North Heidelberg Township, Bernville, according to Trooper David Beohm. The man who rented the home was injured but was able to walk himself to a nearby home and call 911 at 6:50 a.m. on Dec. 15, Beohm explained. The condition of the neighbors's homes is unknown as the renter of the exploded home has been left with a side of his home collapsed but notably no fire damage. Fiery Wreck On I-78 In Berks Hospitalizes Driver: Police
A Maryland man is hospitalized after ramming into a dump truck on a Berks County highway late on Wednesday, Feb. 1, authorities say. A dump truck was parked on the right shoulder and partially in the eastbound lane of I-78 in Tilden Township to conduct roadwork, state police said in a release. The truck was equipped with a flashing, yellow signal board instructing drivers to move left to avoid work vehicles, they added. Police in Berks County are investigating after a shooting victim was found inside a car in Reading Tuesday, WMFZ-TV reports.
