A felon convicted for drug dealing has been arrested for arson, Upper Chichester police announced on Thursday, Oct. 3. Andre Lamont Armstrong, 56, of Chester, was arrested on Monday, Sept. 23, according to court documents. Armstrong was wanted in connection to a "suspicious" vehicle fire in the 1600 block of Huddell Avenue around 2:10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, police detailed in a release. Convicted Felon Brandon Grant Dies From Boiling Water
A Delaware County dad serving time at a Montgomery County prison for abusing his infant daughter died after being scalded with boiling water, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office in a release. Brandon Grant, 39, died on Sunday, Jan. 14 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest from pulmonary thromboemboli due to deep vein thrombosis and complications from burns to his back, according to officials. Philly Drug Lord Sold Brand-Name Heroin Called 'Funeral,' Feds Say
A convicted Philadelphia druglord known for selling his own brand of heroin will spend nearly 20 years in federal prison, prosecutors say. Ricardo "PR" Carrion, 42, was sentenced to 19 years and four months behind bars by a federal judge on Tuesday, Nov. 29, US Attorney Jacqueline C. Romero said in a statement.
