Three family members have been charged in the death of an infant who had fentanyl in his system, authorities in Bucks County said. Donna Westmoreland, who was was previously appointed as the four-month-old baby's foster mother, violated a court order on Friday, Jan. 7, when she left her grandson unsupervised with his parents, Felicity Westmoreland and Daniel Howarth, Bensalem police said. Two Suburban Philly Businesses Shut Down For Prostitution Investigations
Two businesses in the Philadelphia suburbs have been shut down indefinitely following allegations of prostitution, authorities said. Authorities closed New Super AcuCare on Oxford Valley Road in Fairless Hills and West Trenton Day Spa on West Trenton Avenue in Morrisville on Friday, March 11 after Falls Township police determined that the businesses were "promoting prostitution and human trafficking," they said. Thief Poses As Walmart Employee, Steals VR Headset In MontCo: Police
Police in Montgomery County are looking for a man who they say posed as a Walmart employee and stole merchandise on Friday, March 4. The man in the Walmart vest persuaded an associate to hand over the keys to the electronics case, from which he stole an Oculus VR headset around 10 a.m. at the store on Grove Blair Mill Road in Willow Grove, Upper Moreland police said. He fled the store with both the headset and the keys, police said. Anyone with information on the incident is urged to contact Officer J. A former high school choir teacher from the Philadelphia suburbs who was arrested last month for using a hidden camera to record a former student undressing at his home is now facing additional charges following accusations from new victims, authorities announced. Pair Steal Puppy From Berks County Pet Shop, Police Say
A pair of alleged dog thieves are wanted by police in Berks County. On Sunday, Feb. 27, a man and woman entered the Your Pet Experts store in the Berkshire Mall, seemingly looking for the area where customers could pet dogs, Wyomissing police said. When the employees walked away, the man quickly grabbed a Cairn Terrier puppy and hid it in his jacket while the woman stood guard, police said. They both immediately left the store. Police in Montgomery County are seeking the public's help identifying a man accused of stealing $1100 worth of steaks and seafood from the Willow Grove Giant. The "surf n turf swindler" was last seen loading the items into a grey Nissan Murano and leaving the parking lot northbound on York Road around 8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26, Upper Moreland police said.
