PA Murder Suspect Captured During Connecticut Bank Robbery: Police
The prime suspect in a 2020 Luzerne County homicide was arrested this week while robbing a bank in Connecticut, according to state police.
Giovanni Morales Jr., 27, of Brooklyn, New York, was arrested in Hartford on Monday, Nov. 13, authorities said.
He was previously charged with the June 26, 2020 killing of Jonathan Hernandez in West Hazleton, troopers said.
Morales had come to the area days before the slaying to stay with Hernandez, and the pair were seen by witnesses working together on construction sites, the Wilkes-Barre Times Leader has reported.

Joel Francisco Contreras-Paniagua, 49; Lorena Contreras Francisco Reyes, 59; Joel E. Contreras Francisco, 29; and Daniel Contreras Francisco, 23, died in the 3 a.m. crash Saturday, May 13 on I-95 in Stamford, CT, Connecticut State Police said.

4 From Philadelphia Killed In Crash On I-95 In CT
Four people from Philadelphia were killed in a crash between a tractor-trailer and an SUV on a stretch of I-95 in Connecticut overnight.
The four, who all share the same address in Philadelphia, were traveling in a 2019 GMC Terrain in Stamford when the vehicle failed to stop and rear-ended a tractor trailer around 3 a.m. Saturday, May 13, Connecticut State Police said.
The following victims, who are believed to be family members, were pronounced dead at the scene:
