2 Killed, 3 Hurt In Rollover Crash: Philadelphia Police
A man and a woman are dead and three others hospitalized after a serious car crash in Philadelphia on Friday morning, Oct. 27, officials said. It happened around 11 a.m. on East Lehigh Avenue near the corner with Jasper Street, city police told Daily Voice. A grey Dodge Caravan was headed south on East Lehigh it struck a grey Acura, authorities said. Video uploaded to the Citizen App showed the Dodge rolled on its side and the Acura resting on the sidewalk. Car Crashes Into Catholic School In Philadelphia
A Philadelphia driver was critically injured after crashing in Frankford on Friday morning, according to police. Authorities said the driver was heading east on Torresdale Avenue near the corner with Kensington Avenue when they lost control and the car began to spin. They hit the curb line, knocked over a traffic sign, and struck two trees before hitting the entrance way to Mariana Bracetti Academy Charter School, police said. Officer Struck Breaking Up Drag Race In Philadelphia: Police
A Philadelphia police officer has a broken ankle after being hit by a car while breaking up a street racing event early Sunday morning, the department told Daily Voice. It happened on the 1300 block of North Broad Street around 1:45 a.m. on July 23, authorities said. Some 500 "people and vehicles" were gathered on the road when officers arrived to disperse the crowd, according to investigators. 4-Alarm Fire Rips Through Philadelphia Warehouse
Firefighters were working to control a multi-alarm fire that broke out at a warehouse Monday morning, April 24 in Philadelphia. The DarkRun Lane fire brought a HazMat team to the scene and had struck four alarms as of 10:45 a.m. Videos of the scene were being uploaded to the Citizen app. Plumes of smoke can be seen billowing over the city.
