Driver Charged After Hit-Run In Delaware County: Police Police arrested a man in Philadelphia on Sunday, May 5 following a hit-and-run crash in Yeadon, according to authorities.  Officials said William F. Butler rear-ended a car at a red light on Church Lane near the intersection with Whitby Avenue. The collision sent the struck car forward into the back of another vehicle, authorities said.  Police claim Butler fled the scene. No Arrests Made In Deadly Philadelphia Shooting, Police Say A 31-year-old man is dead after gunshots rang out on a Southwest Philadelphia street Tuesday night, Oct. 17, officials say.  It happened on the 5400 block of Chester Avenue in Kingsessing just after 6:45 p.m., city police told Daily Voice. The unnamed victim was shot multiple times and pronounced dead at Presbyterian Hospital by 7 p.m. No arrests were made and no weapons had been recovered from the scene by Wednesday, Oct. 18, PPD said.
