The 50-year-old officer was on his way home from work when a BMW carrying three teenagers struck his Hyundai sedan on Bustleton Avenue around midnight, the outlet says.  The unidentified officer, who had been with the department for 30 years, was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital, according to the outlet.
