Officers responded to the 700 block of North 47th Street at 9:42 a.m. on Jan. 30 after a passerby made the grim discovery, authorities said. State Police Name Carbon County Man Found In Lehigh River (Updated) A Jim Thorpe man was found dead in the Lehigh River on Monday, July 1, according to state troopers.  Authorities said 33-year-old Felix Dejesus was previously reported as missing and endangered by borough police before his remains were found around noon.  The investigation is ongoing and there is no danger to the public, state police said.  "Updates will be provided as to not jeopardize the integrity of the investigation," said Trooper Anthony Petroski of PSP's Hazleton Station in a statement on Tuesday, July 2.

Amazon Delivery Driver Finds Body In Pennsylvania: Report A body was found by an Amazon delivery driver in Pennsylvania on Thursday, Feb. 10, WPXI reports. Police and EMS were called to a report of a body covered in snow near Verona Road and Brinley Drive just before 4 p.m., according to the outlet. The victim appeared to have come outside and fallen, approximately seven to 10 days prior to being discovered, the outlet reports citing the police chief.
