After reviewing events leading up to the fatal shooting of a 33-year-old man, Cumberland County District Attorney Seán M. McCormack ruled the police were justified in the killing. Charges Dismissed Against PPD Officer Mark Dial; DA To Appeal
The District Attorney's Office will file an appeal after a Philadelphia municipal judge dismissed the charges against Officer Mark Dial for the killing of 27-year-old Eddie Irizarry during a traffic stop last month. DA Larry Krasner said his office will file with the Court of Common Pleas to have all charges against Dial — including murder — reinstated. Municipal Court Judge Wendy L. Accused Idaho killer Bryan Kohberger had a run-in with police not once, but twice on his drive from Washington to Pennsylvania before he was officially labeled as a suspect in the four college students' murders, reports ABC 7.
