Bedminster Resident Robbed Of $400K In Bank Fraud: Police
A resident of Bedminster Township was robbed of nearly $400,000 from fraudulent bank transactions, authorities said. On July 11, 2023, the resident discovered the illegal activity on their Home Equity Line of Credit Account. It was determined that someone set up an online bank account and moved money from the victim’s Home Equity Line of Credit Account into a fraudulent checking account. Teens Harassed Children At Bedminster Playground, Authorities Say
Police are seeking two teenagers who they say harassed a pair of children at a playground in Bedminster Township on Wednesday, June 14. It happened around 8:30 p.m., police said in a release. Two girls aged 9 and 10 were at a playground behind a home on Kulp Drive when they were offered candy by two males, the department wrote. The children ran home and reported the incident to their parents, authorities said. Stalker Followed, Spied On Bucks Woman For 6 Years, DA Says
A Hatfield man who had stalked and harassed a Bucks County woman for over six years is going to jail, authorities say. Andrew D. Gold, 33, was convicted at trial in August and sentenced to 1-2 years plus 12 years probation at a sentencing hearing on Tuesday, Jan. 3, said Deputy District Attorney Brittney Kern in a statement. Tornado Touchdown In PA Confirmed
A tornado touched down this week in northern Bucks County, the National Weather Service confirmed. The EF1 tornado occurred during the storms Thursday, March 31 about 15 to 20 miles over the Northampton County line in Bedminster Township, the NWS said. Winds hit a max of approximately 100 mph. Its path was about 2 miles and its width 100 yards, or 300 feet.

PA Supreme Court Upholds Death Sentence Of Police Officer's Killer
The Pennsylvania Supreme Court on Wednesday again upheld the death sentence of a Bucks County man convicted of killing a police officer over a decade ago, authorities said. Robert Anthony Flor, 54, fatally shot Newtown Borough police officer Brian Gregg on Sept. 29, 2005, while at St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown Township, according to the Bucks County District Attorney's Office.
