Two Young Children Injured In PA Bear Attack, Game Wardens Say
A pair of Pennsylvania children received non-life-threatening injuries in a bear attack on Monday, according to the state Game Commission. It happened on May 22 in Wright Township, Luzerne County, the commission wrote in a release. Two children aged 5 and 14 months were playing in their driveway when the attack occurred, officials said. Bear Kills Dog, Injures Woman In NJ Attack
A woman was hospitalized and her dog was killed after being attacked by a bear outside a North Jersey home Monday evening, police said. Officers responding to the attack on Echo Drive in Sparta found an 81-year-old woman with head and leg injuries around 7 p.m., Sparta Police Lt. John Lamon told DailyVoice.com.
