Organs Of Towson Student Killed In Crash Will Save Others, Mom Says
The mother of a 19-year-old Towson University student who was killed in a Baltimore County crash said her organs will save the lives of others. Catherine Pratt, of Easton, was heading north on Greenspring Avenue in Reisterstown when her Kia Sorrento veered off the road and struck a fence before coming to rest in a field on July 31, county police said. Pratt died on Aug. 1. The cause of this crash remains under investigation by Baltimore County police. An arrest warrant has been issued for the Maryland man shot by his wife in a Washington, DC hotel room over allegations he sexually abused at least three children at her daycare facility, authorities said. James Weems Jr., 57, of Randallstown, was shot by his wife, Shanteari Weems, after she confronted him over the alleged abuse in a room at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Monday, July 25, according to multiple reports. Dead Baltimore County Music Teacher Was Recording People Without Their Knowledge: Police
Numerous of recordings taken of people without their knowledge were recovered from the home of a deceased Baltimore County music instructor, authorities said. Scott Tiemann, 46, taught music lessons at several schools in the area as well as at his Pikesville home up until his death, Baltimore County Police said. Tiemann was to have died by suicide, Fox Baltimore reports. Police did not reveal exactly if the recordings were of Tiemann's students, how many there were or detailed their content. Maryland Man, 35, Dies In Motorcycle Crash In Pennsylvania
A Baltimore County, Maryland man has died at a York County hospital, according to the county coroner's office. Salar "Louis" Peikari, 35, of the first block of Athenry Court in Timonium, died at Wellspan York Hospital on Monday. Peikari was driving his 2008 Suzuki GSX-R600 eastbound on Stablers Church Road in Cockeysville when he left the roadway, striking a guardrail at 7:21 p.m., according to Baltimore County police.
