A self-proclaimed "Angel of Lancaster" exploited hundreds of Spanish-speaking PennDOT customers, coercing at least 35 victims into paying for answers on driver’s license tests, Lancaster County District Attorney Heather Adams announced on Monday, Dec. 23, 2024. A 30-year-old woman was going over 100 miles per hour when she crashed her car outside a Pennsylvania State Police Barracks, troopers announced in a release on Friday, Feb. 16. Katlyn Ann Dippner of Kinzers was spotted making numerous traffic violations and possibly driving under the influence near US 30 East/Lincoln Highway and Old Philadelphia Pike at 5:34 p.m. on Feb. 6, PSP Trooper Wagner detailed in the release. An irate woman damaged police equipment after she scratched and spit in the face of a police officer who was issuing her a ticket around 6:30 a.m. on Friday, June 3, authorities say. Elizabeth Jackson, 41, of Lafayette Street in Lancaster, was stopped driving 69 mph in a 35 mph zone in a blue 2021 Subaru Forrester in the 1900 block of Lincoln Highway East, according to a release by East Lampeter Township police.
