A Philadelphia man was accused of shooting two women in the head, killing one of the victims, authorities said.
Gregg Page, 34, was charged with murder, attempted murder, and several weapons offenses, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release on Friday, Aug. 2. Two brothers from Philadelphia, 30-year-old Ryan Schenck and 27-year-old Ramir Schenck, were charged with hindering apprehension in the case.

A series of shootings left three people wounded in Atlantic City, authorities said.
At 10:41 p.m. Monday, Atlantic City patrol officers responded to the 1200 block of Drexel Avenue in reference to a ShotSpotter alert, a police spokesman said.
There was evidence of gunfire located, but no victim located on Drexel, police said.

Atlantic City Woman, 57, Struck, Killed While Helping Stranded Motorist At Route 30 Crash Scene
A motorist who stopped to help another motorist involved in a crash was struck and killed in South Jersey, authorities said.
Atlantic City police were called to Route 30 on a report of a collision about 10 p.m. Wednesday, a department spokesman said.
Responding patrol officers found that a Jeep SUV operated by an unidentified driver, 35, from Atlantic City, struck a center median and became disabled in the left lane of eastbound traffic.
Several vehicles stopped to assist in the removal of the woman from the disabled vehicle, according to Lt. Kevin Fair.
