Fireball Lights Up Sky, Captivating Hundreds Across Pennsylvania
A bright fireball streaked across the East Coast on Monday, Nov. 11, catching the attention of hundreds of people from Connecticut to Virginia (did you see it? The American Meteor Society reported that 236 people witnessed the fireball around 7:48 p.m., with sightings spanning 13 states, the District of Columbia, and Ontario, Canada (click here for the sightings map). If it's Sunday, Chuck Todd will now be able to sleep in. But Kristen Welker won't. The Arlington resident announced he is stepping down as moderator of NBC's "Meet the Press," the venerable Sunday morning news show. Charity Founder Killed By Virginia Airport Worker While He Slept Next To His Wife: Report
A Virginia airport worker was arrested on accusations he killed a beloved charity founder in his own bed while sleeping next to his wife, FOX 5 reports. Joshua Danehower, 33, of Arlington, has been charged with shooting Gret Glyer, 32, while he slept next to his wife in his Fairfax home around 3 a.m. Friday, June 24, FOX 5 says citing police.
