The Department of Animal Protection from the Animal Rescue League of Berks County was performing a wellness check when they removed 22 dogs, three cats, five snakes, and two geckos were removed from a home in Womelsdorf on Wednesday, Oct. 9. Puppy Placed In Garbage Bag, Thrown Down Hill In Berks County State police are investigating after witnesses in Berks County saw a man throw a puppy in a trash bag over a hill.  It happened on Eisenhauer Drive in Alsace Township around 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, according to an incident report by troopers. The puppy was recovered from the bag and turned over to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County for treatment, police said.  ARL spokesman José Joel Delgado-Rivera told Daily Voice the dog is now in stable condition and said she is about three to four months old.  The suspect is described by state police as a roughly 6-foot…
